Our commitment
AllPeople Marketplace wants everyone to be able to shop, choose a cause, and manage their account, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Accessibility is ongoing work. We know some parts of the site do not yet fully meet that standard, and we are fixing them.
What we do
- Automated checks against WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA on every change to the site, at phone and desktop widths
- Checks that pages reflow at 320 pixels wide and with increased text spacing, without scrolling sideways
- Keyboard, focus, and form error tests on the main shopping and account flows
- A nightly automated scan of the live site, because product content can change without a code change
Known limitations
- The video on the Our Mission page does not have captions yet. We are adding them.
- Checkout is hosted by Shopify. We do not control or test those pages, but if you report a barrier in checkout to the address below, we will pass it on to Shopify.
- Product descriptions and images are supplied by our vendors, and some may not yet have complete text descriptions.
Report a barrier
If something on our site is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us at help@store.allpeoplemarketplace.com. It helps us to know:
- The page address (URL) where you found the problem
- What you were trying to do, and what happened instead
- The device, browser, and any assistive technology you were using
We aim to respond within one business day.
